  • Is flying trapeze safe?
Flying trapeze is very safe. Every student wears a safety belt until an instructor has determined that they have a smooth take-off and can land properly in the net.
  • How old do I need to be to fly?
Anyone who is above the age of 6 years old can participate.
  • What happens if it rains?
Inclement weather – safety is our number one priority. This is an outdoor activity and classes may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather (high winds, rain, lightning etc). In the event a class is cancelled we will text (SMS) you (using the mobile number you provide on your enrolment/booking) no less than 3 hours prior to class start time, to advise of the cancellation and with the details of a scheduled make up class – usually the following week at the same class time.
  • What if I have a pre-existing condition or injury?
Please contact us prior to booking via email and let us know of your condition or injury upon arrival at Brisbane Trapeze Academy. Our experienced instructors will make a decision with you about any modifications that may be required based on your capability.
  • Is there always a net?
Yes. There is always a net, no exceptions.
  • Do you offer private lessons?
Yes we absolutely do. Please email us to organise your private lesson: brisbanetrapezeacademy@gmail.com
  • What's the parking situation like?
There is free unlimited parking in the Dock C Car Park, just off Macarthur Avenue. Please watch for cars, pedestrians & bikes as you walk to and from Brisbane Trapeze Academy. Due to Eat Street being close by, parking can get busy on Friday, Saturday and Sundays evening. Please leave ample time to find a carpark on those evenings.
